Flash Back of Old Times

Looking at the calendar, am thinking how time passes in just a blink of eyes.

Its been a year and 2months now in the uk.

And I'm doing good, thank you ;p

Thank God that I'm very well-taken care of by the lovely people and friends around me. Everything has been coming along alright so far. Manchester is just nice for me despite of the gloomy weather throughout the year. I've been picking up students various kinds of accent in the city. And its the variety that makes my interests for English boost further.

UK-United Kingdom!!! Just seemed how impossible I am to be here right now. Remember the song 'London Bridge Is Falling Down", which I came across at the age of 3, when I didn't even know what was actually sang out of my lips. Well, my point is, London used to appear to be a long way off from me, a beautiful spot in the world which I couldn't reach. I didn't think I would actually be in UK someday, yet indeed God's grace has brought me through my dreams. Being far away from home, its no doubt that I'm missing home lotsss, and still I truly do...

Same Boring Background Yet...

The same boring background yet serves enjoyable moment! ;D
We all know webcam, aka web camera is widely known and makes life much easier nowadays.
Taking pics without a camera is absolutely fine coz webcam has play the role.

These pics were all taken in MY room which I used to live for 1st year in Manchester:) Its called Cambridge Hall. I was in a flat of 5 study bedrooms, shared kitchen and toilet. Every individual's room is private, thats what i like best about it, coz I'm a safety freak...haha.

Most of the uni halls, are limited for the new badge students to stay only for a year. Once the contract has end, we will have to move out from halls to a new private rent accommodation. Hence, I'm now staying at a new apartment; with 2 large double bedrooms, toilets, a living room, laundry room and a kitchen. Its definitely more spacious for me to do uni work:)

Another Surprise from Bro

We never get a second chance to make a first impression. In order to not let the readers get the wrong impression, not to promote him but I'm trying to give proper facts about Malcolm Wee Swee Khim, whom is also known as my "Bro!", colm colm, mal, ah khim ;p

Apart from the many other amazing friends, malcolm is one of the supportive friends of mine. He cares and show concern, gives encouragement and advises at times in spite of how his mood swings. Well, there is lots more interesting bits to talk about.

Friendship isn't a big thing, it's a million little things.
He'd never forget reminding me these:

"No sweetish food...take less sugar!"
"Study Hard! Play Hard!"
"Must take good care always"
"Don't worry too much about your image, you look good, eat nia..." :)

I appreciate his concern.

First Surprise of The DAY

Woke up from bed in the morning with a smile on my face knowing that its another new day.
And its my also my 20th birthday :D

And what is that to do with this pictures?

To be honest, I wouldn't think the people in the pic would do this for me. Its not that they are not nice people, obviously they are. Its just that I have never expected this somehow. You might think its not a big deal by uploading just a simple pic as a birthday gift, but little things make big differences. You wouldn't know how much you would impact a person's life by just doing something which people would think its not necessary, or couldn't be bothered with.

I was completely astonished when I logged onto facebook and saw hundreds of greetings and particularly this pic, which was tagged by WeiNi [1st from right] on 2nd Nov, in the morning, uk time. Looking at the picture, it warm instantly right from the bottom of my heart. This pic speaks it all. I appreciate the love, care and effort, most importantly, thank God for HE has brought us together.

Every birthday marks the grace of God, it reminds us how much he loves, bless and strengthen us. Once again it brings to mind that God has been holding our hands all along the way since the day we were born.

Feeling FAT

I'm really feeling sooo FAT lately. Have been eating much despite the timing. Not to say calories, I cant be arsed. Food fascinates me =) thats the fact. I can eat and eat a lot. Not picky on food...thats definitely the reason for gaining weight. Looking in the mirror in any clothes would always urge me to lose weight. However, when the food is served I'd tend to forget everything... Apparently, food in Manchester are nice and tempting. I've been learning to cook so there's not reason to not eat =p

But there are times when I don't eat properly. It happens when uni work bombard me with loads of submissions due. I don't see myself lose weight though... There're quite a few pants which I found I cant fit into no more. Can I work it out to fix it anytime soon?lol

Final Project Submission Tomorrow

Just got back from uni library about half an hour ago. Was browsing nets and read a friend's blog, realised I haven updated mine for a while. Remember the last update was in winter, and its now spring and summer is approaching. Hmm~weather suppose to be warmer. But it become cold again lately for some reasons. I like it though as the day is longer, sky turns dark at about 9ish.

Uni work makes me a busy bee, always...[excuses?] =p was in the library since morning. Was a long day through, am knackered. Well, gonna have a quick bite and head to bed as soon...

House Searching

Joy and I are thinking to move out to a house as soon as the contract ends for this hall which we're stayin'. Flipping through papers and browsing nets these recent days...we are looking into:

• Not To Far Away From Uni & Town
• Reasonable Price
• Comfortable Environment
• Safety Area
• Ideal Surrounding For Students

Leaflets distributed by different agency...

Marked to make an appointment for house viewing...

I'm grateful for the chance to make decisions myself now...

Praying that God guide us and make the right choice =D

After Years We Finally Met

Marina [Ting Ting], a cousin of mine, whom is currently working as an Engineer in Birmingham,

visited us for a weekend in Manchester; 29Jan-31Jan.

I think we last met was about more than 10years ago. I knew she left Sibu,

Sarawak [her hometown] studying abroad years back.

Glad that we finally met each other again.

We had great time shopping, eating, chilling together =)
